It will require outside resources and a understanding that the people they call their friends during active addiction is NOT their friends. They can’t remain friends with those still in active addiction. They must find a new circle a circle that is clean. The temptation is far too strong. Too many times addicts think they can remain friends with those who do not better them. Once clean out of jail or rehab they go right back to their “friends” and end up relapsing. Finding nee friends clean friends a support system is an absolute must. Sometimes people have no one. Bridges with families have been burnt. They have no where to turn but back to the ones still in active addiction. They all too often need a place to live. This is why finding a nee circle of support is all too hard. Better outreach programs is what this county needs to help get meth off the streets
